CCSA Competitive and Recreational Basketball

Come join former Harlem Globetrotter and current JV Head Coach, Eli Akin, for skills and clinics as you prep for your tryouts or just to get better!

Coach Akin will take you through skills and drills to help you become the player you want to be throughout September/October.

For middle school players, we will be hosting a tryout clinic on October 12th to get you ready for the fast paced drills that your coaches want to see!

CCSA Basketball

CCSA has offered Basketball in the recreational and competitive divisions for several years!

Our in-house 2:52 Basketball League is one of the staple sports programs we offer.  Our 2:52 Basketball League trains 150+ boys and girls each year the basics of the sport. Through amazing parent volunteers, we see kids learn and gain a passion for the sport! If you have ever experienced Upward, you will be familiar with 2:52's structure and format.

We offer development programs throughout the year that are much like intensive skills clinics. These are available to Kinder-6th graders NOW! (SPROUTS and Academy Training.)

CCSA also competes in recreational and competitive level basketball through local leagues in McKinney and Plano. Our teams are led by quality CCSA coaches, who care about their players and strive to help athletes grow on and off of the court.

These players advance in the sport and are equipped with the ability and confidence to tryout for school teams and be successful.

We also offer skills clinics periodically throughout the year. These are posted on our page. This is another opportunity to get your child in for extra work, at a low cost investment.

Finally, CCSA offers summer camps for Kinder - 8th grade boys and girls. We encourage you to plug your athlete into these as they refine and prepare for the school or club season!
